FORM FOLLOWS PLAYABILITY- The complexity of the situations in todays society, makes the individual loose sight of the true boundaries of her own abilities. Playing as a means of exploring those abilities and opening her creative mind.

Design should call for creative solutions, it should avert attention from conventional approaches.
It's not about deconstructing design, but about encouraging people to deconstruct their own everyday habits. Design should not rule the way we live. There can never exist a readymade path to happiness. We need to be able to create our own solutions. We want to integrate play into design. A playfulness to broaden our minds. A design that tickles the individual's creative senses. A form that follows playability.

The dismissal of earlier problems as out-of-date in a global strive towards progress, brings a constantly growing complexity. This process makes the individual loose sight of the true boundaries of her own abilities. Boundaries that create the base on which a human interpret her life.

Take the problem of getting into a building. Once you put a door on it the problem is solved. But you could climb in through a window. Or enter any way you like.
The design should rather point out than hide away these ways.

Design that suggest more than the conventional, design that tickles your playful mind.

A bus stop that also can work as a swing to pass the time, or a table lamp that you can switch on and off by spinning endlessly. If you like to. But why not?
