CHAIRVILLE - This is a reflection of human behaviour in public spaces and an investigation into how we can affect a meeting scenario depending on the way we arrange the furniture in a room. Chairville is an invitation into different social situation symbolised by chairs and carpets. The constillations were design for a project with Scandic Hotels and was part of a concept for new ways of meeting in a conference environment.

These groups of chairs and carpets are designed for the coffeebreak, the informal meeting room. They are a playful approach to highlight human acts. By interacting with the groups the users are pushed into situations that normally might not have happened in our social limitations.

"På gator och torg, i alla de otaliga situationer som leder till människors möten utspelar sig sålunda en mängd skådespel, som vi kan ta i betraktande om vi har intresse och tid."
